About Us

The Stanley W. Metcalf and D.E. French Foundations are two independent organizations, both in operation and in focus. They are, however, managed by the same Board of Directors.

The Board of both foundations is a group of individuals who volunteer their time and expertise to help us make a difference in Cayuga County. They are passionate and dedicated individuals who care deeply about our cause. The Board provides valuable guidance and leadership, making important decisions that shape our two foundations’ work. They bring diverse backgrounds and skills to the table, ensuring that we have a well-rounded perspective on the issues we address. With their support, we are able to allocate resources effectively, develop impactful programs, and ensure that our foundation operates in a transparent and responsible manner.
